Bulung is Typical Balinese food made from green seaweed. Seaweed is
served with whole spices.
There are two types of seaweed that is used as a raw material,
namely bulung buni / boni and bulung rambut. The two types seaweed are
differently in processing and presentation
Bulung buni is not served by cooked but only washed with hot water.
This type Bulung served with mixed roasted grated coconut, galangal, ginger,
lemongrass, chili pieces, lemon juice, then sprinkled with soy beans or fried
on it.
Bulung Rambut is served by briefly boiled. Add chili, shrimp paste,
sugar, lemon juice, broth served with a sauce fish, salt, shrimp paste, and
chili, as well as a sprinkling of fried soybeans. Fry seasoning is poured into
bulung that have been placed on the plate and then sprinkled with nuts.
